Hey guys, as part of my new job I have been asked to design an amazing gaming PC from the ground up. What I want to know is what would you put in your Ultimate Gaming Machine and why? This includes everything form motherboard to RAM and NCI. Please post your Ultimate Gaming Machine stats in this forum topic. Your input is much appreciated.

yan, not ur machine, the ultimate machine, i'd go intel cpu, and an ati 5000 series at this point in time, also steer slear of Asus boards.

Ocz or corsair memory

most definately a corsair power supply

western digital hard drive or buy yourself an ssd (solid state drive)

There isnt anything worthwhile that uses DX11. ATI has no PHYSX, so there~

NVDA card for sure, but the new ones are just fixing to be release later this month (fermi design)

no offence st. denis. I can build a computer for less of what your computer cost, and it would out preform it hands down. but that doesn't matter here.

I'd say for the processor go i7-975

Lots of people seems to love this one. Also iv had ASUS before and they are decent.

As for the people knocking on ASUS boards, you can suck it. ASUS is decent. Yes EVGA is good as well, I just happened to find one at newegg that had good specs and good reviews.

Oh im not saying they are the best, the absolute best IMO would be EVGA or Intel Brand. I was just saying that was a pretty nice one I found with a lot of good reviews.
