Is A-10 soon gone from the airforce?

Why wasting money on expensive jets, when the A-10 is the best jet aircraft and actually do the job 100%? The enemy fears A-10 most of everything else. So why do politicians try to push out the A-10 with newer jets that are not as effective for ground troops?

Its loud, not stealthy, and you have to get close. New governments and militaries are focusing on longer range stealth fire and forget type air technologies aka drones. I don't know thats my guess.

It does have that fear factor that is great for close engagements, but with the new battlefield out there, it might be getting old. But hey, if they want to keep the A-10, by all means, keep those badass planes. If not, bring a new badass plane.
