I want to begin by saying that I got a PTU from mr. Brown to post this.

On May 10th, Sunday 8pm EST, we will have a "draft". The way it works is that we start at 24 people in vent (the people who come later will have to wait). Afterwards we form four teams of six players each. Each team plays one another until there is a winner. (The people who come late start playing at 12 people and form teams 5 and 6).

How do prizes work? The winning team has a group of six players which get put into a random lottery. Each player has 1/6 chance to win. However, any time a player becomes an MVP for his team, he gets an additional ticket, increasing his chances. With maximum MVP tickets a player can increase his chances to 50%. Furthermore, this draft will happen every week starting on May 10th, so a player has a chance to win multiple prizes.

What kind of prizes? Steam prizes. You want GTAV? You got it, just win a week in a draft, you want some fancy CSGO skin? You got it. And so forth.

This is an invitation to the 1st MRB. However, if you are planning to play with us, it is expected that you have experience in playing 12mans before. If you want to join the steam group the link is provided: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/dodsdeaddraft

I'll go over how 12 mans works:

It is 6v6 with both teams in separate vent channels. It is pub style gameplay with heavy emphasis on flag capping (you win by capping out). 2x 20 min (1x halves on each side).

Everyone on the team is going a specific route on the map, and there is alot of people doing calls(enemy positions) in vent. If you don't know what a location is named, you should ask what something is called if you don't know the map. It is very intense and a ton of fun.

I've always been a fan of competitive game play, since the original cod, cod2, and cs competitions died. Sadly enough DoD:S competitive aspect has also died. But 12 mans bring back some of that competitiveness. I support this 100% and would love to participate.

Is it possible to advertise this on the 1st MRB server? For example, you have a few automated messages, a message that says, "think you got what it takes to be the best? Go to ... and ... ".

I know that servers do not advertize other servers, but we are not a server, we are just an event, for the DOD community, so this is not going to be a conflict of interest. The intent of this event (which will last between 8 to 10 weeks) is to bring people together.

If anyone feels like joining,

TeamSpeak Info: ts46.gameservers.com:9180

Last week we had almost 48 people, but it was a bit disorganized because we had to switch between Vent and TS (Vent had a limit on it), but we managed to form 6 teams.
