Type of issue: Software/Unsure?

Brief Description of Issue: I am having issues connecting to servers on the game Life is Feudal. When I attempt to connect to the server(I believe any server, I checked another and failed) I am stuck loading...Waiting for Server... and it does not go from there. Working with Candy, I have my antivirus(Norton) allowing it. I have also attempted to run it with the Norton firewall turned off, so I don't believe it is connected to Norton. I have a router/modem(model Q1000 from Actiontec) from a local internet provider (Qwest). From internet searches we attempted to do port forwarding on my router to allow port 28,000. From some of this help(I noticed a Norton issue after we set up the port so I dont know what resolved it) the game started working and I played for 2 days. But now it is not working again with the same infinite waiting for server loop.

Here is a list of the references I have been looking at....

here is the last page of code where it gets stuck I think???

FiF_Waiting_For_Server_second%20attempt_

I imagine there is closer to 100 screenshots worth of code. I see that there is some method of gathering a report of the console but after I could not find any way to do it after an hour of searching. Any suggestion on how to copy and paste the code?

That looks like a very busy console! I feel like I'll need more of the console log than this one image, unfortunately.

I also searched online and could find no information about the location of any logs (I think the only log that exists is for the server).

When is a good time for you that we could do a screen share and work on this?

Based on the screenshot you provided, I will make a few suggestions for the technicians.

It appears to be the same step over and over again, referencing a TCP connection. Could indicate an issue with communications between his computer and the server, like a firewall.

For the sake of experimentation, try lowering the graphical settings to the lowest possible setting, and joining a server. I notice that on my own PC, which is well spec'ed, it can take sometimes up to 5 minutes at this loading screen before the joining process is complete. Lowering the graphics setting appears to decreases the connection time on my side.

Additionally, you might attempt at making a local game, simply to see if it is indeed an issue with connecting to the server, or something else entirely.

That particular part of the log looks like a successful connection to me. "forest" increments and stops when "IsCompleted" is true.

It can take sometimes up to 5 minutes at this loading screen before the joining process is complete.

After doing some research, this is actually caused by the fact that when you log on, the server sends you every action that has ever been done to the server. A fresh world or server should take significantly less time to connect. Which brings me to...

Additionally, you might attempt at making a local game, simply to see if it is indeed an issue with connecting to the server, or something else entirely.

I definitely recommend doing this to make sure the game can load a world properly.

How long had you waited on the loading screen for the server?

I have created my own server and it works fine. I normally give up on the loading after 5 minutes but I can definately just let it go for a bit and see if that works. I will put my settings down to the lowest and on that note I also saw that you can turn off anti-aliasing will help it load faster so I will attempt that as well.

They patched it the game and I was able to load into the server. I logged out and back in successfully as well. We can call this issue resolved. Sorry for the bother, I guess I have to lower my expectations for and alpha game/raise my expectations for the development team who fixed the issue in the patch. Well thanks for everyone's input on this issue on this thread as well as through steam chat.
