Hello Raiders,

I'm posting in the MSO to ask if anyone knows anything about Hard Drives.

I'm looking to buy a new hard drive and was wondering what people know and what Drives are the best.

I know I want at least a 1 TB or 2 TB Drive but the RPM and cache specs for various drives confuses me.

I also am looking to spend around $50 or less and may need help if/when I get the drive.

For convenience sake just message me on steam or grab me in vent and we can go over the topic

I own that drive for storage, it's one of the better drives you can get. I would personally recommend going with an ssd, but it would be a little more expensive.

I would recommend this one. You aren't getting the storage, but the speed is unbelievable when going to ssd.

I am assuming that you need a SATA drive and for a desktop, and not a laptop. If your price limit is $50.00, then I would go with a

You will not get a 1TB SSD HD anywhere near that price. They will be at least $400.00.
