Congratulations to the 1st Marine Raider Battalion on an entire year of activity.

March 21st, 2009, Captain Parker, 1st Lieutenant Kirkendall, 2nd Lieutenant Sorley, Master Sergeants Warren and Englebretson, Staff Sergeants Costa, Lehman, Gooderham, and Wilson came together and became the first members of the newly commissioned 1st MRB. Since that moment, the unit grew and earned respect and a reputation with the other units in the realism community.

Today, we have grown to almost 100 members, the 5 officers and 2 junior officers. A mass of capable SNCOs, NCOs and the many fresh-faced Privates awaiting their shot at proving themselves.

Today, we are 1 year strong, and tomorrow... One year and a day.

Way to go Marines!

Keep an eye out for any announcements by the Command Staff, there will be quick meeting to discuss the past year and the year to come.

A job well done by everyone in the 1st MARINE RAIDER BATTALION!!!

Well said Yamagata, well said. There are many others who helped get this unit on its feet including 1stLt. Yamagata, 2ndLt. Ford, CWO. Zahl and SgtMaj. Francoeur. And who can forget BAR for all the work they put into the pub for us especially their leader and founder GMoney. Here's to another year and many more after with all you fine gents...

Congratz Guys, from all your friends in the Sixth.

We have had our up and our downs, but in the end we've turned out to be very close. It is a honor to play with such a great group of guys, and to see you so strong after only 1 year is amazing.

You have risen from a small group of good guys, the the second biggest true realism unit in the game, and for this I Salute you all.

May our 2 units share the top of this totem pole for many years to come and share the good times to come with it.
