All non Euro people are probably not watching the EC soccer games but you might have seen the news about the riots. Sad isn't it? People come together to enjoy a nice soccer match and party together and then you get giant riots and massive hooligans destroying everything in their path, makes me really sad to see this happening. Really disapointing to see english and russian hooligans in all their 'pride and glory'. The fight in the stadium was right after russia made a goal in the last minut of the game making the score go 1-1.

I wonder if this stuff happens in North-America to after baseball or football games.

In case you haven't seen anything, have a look at the videos in the links here.

I feel bad for the french people, first you get terrorist destroying your country and then you get englisch and russian hooligans destroying it. Sad.

here, After the Super Bowl or World Series for Baseball, you will see riots like that, from the Winners Towns some times.  They go to the streets to celebrate, then some idiot does something stupid and the town gets wrecked.  Its sad indeed.

It is sad. I got caught up in trouble a few times when I was younger. The Welsh fans have made a great impression so far. Even saw a video of some Welsh fans singing our anthem with the locals in Bordeaux.

We regularly have riots in Montreal as well, due to hockey games; especially against Boston for some reason.

Also I'm hoping us German fans keep an air of class throughout the championship.

There have been some interesting games. Glad I can stream them at work at my desk, heh. It seems the authorities and UEFA have got a good lock on things and the competition has been awesome. Many late scores and some broken hearts (Sorry Ripley). I look forward to an exciting knockout round.

I watched that game (Belgium) I thought it was pretty competitive you guys just had some bad breaks. The commentators seemed to think they need to work more as a team, they were being individualistic, anyway, they are "experts," right? lol

We played bad candy haha, but you're right, The Red Devils need to work on team spirit, they prefer to play by themself, pitty cuz we have great players.

Who else is excited about the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 in Germany next Summer? There's a very small chance I'll get to attend since I have American intelligence connections. Munich. Berlin. Dortmund. Leipzig. Chancellors Scholz and Merkel may find some tickets in a gutter for me since that is currently where my life is. I am definitely rooting for Die Mannschaft since I have German blood on my father's side. Anyway, I think there is a good chance the trophy will be for England or France, but the German squad has my heart.
