Sunday is Father's Day

I just wanted to remind everyone that Sunday is Father's Day. Celebrate you Dad in life and if you have lost your father remember him lovingly. This year is five years since I lost my Dad, I think of him every day.

my father is still alive but feels like he's been gone my whole life.....and happy fathers day to anyone who is a daddy!!!

It's by becoming a father that I truly understood mine. I feel lucky he is still alive but since he moved to Alaska 2 years ago we don't talk much, which I might regret in the long run. Happy Father's day to all, father and son alike.

Talk to him more Moffat I don't know the circumstances or anything but I am saying talk to him and have a relationship with him no matter what. Long story short my dad got back into drinking and got physically abusive and I literally threw him out of my mom's house and never spoke to him again. The day I enlisted in the marines is the day I decided to go make up with him and when I got home I found out I was to late and he had took his life and I regret it every day. To anyone having issues with parents family etc. Put it in the past and move on and repair relationships with them because life is precious and to short to be wasted on anger. To all you fathers in the unit happy fathers day and a special shout out to 1stSgt hill and TSgt goug because y'all are daddies to all of us lol.
