I was working the morning of these events and my manager told me to come to the break room. I got there just as the second tower fell. its a day I we should never forget.

I called in to work back when I was immature and would call in tired. My mom was off that day, and woke me up saying, "I can't take this anymore. You need to wake up." When I went up front, she had been watching coverage of the towers. The second plane had just hit when she woke me up, but what I saw was the towers and a lot of smoke. My first thought was why was she wigging out over footage from the WTC bombing. Then I saw the buildings fall.

I remember we eventually went to church, and there were others there praying. I remember later meeting up with my friends to try to get an understanding on things. We were all worried about one of our friends who was just enrolled in the Army, because I think he had just came back from training, and we were wondering if we were about to go to war. Also, I remember everywhere around town there were huge gas lines because everyone thought we were going to lose our gas supply.

That's about all I can remember from it.
