Today on the server SSgt.Ucar told me he was a huge Elvis fan, then showed me his favorite Elvis pose.

I set my FPS cap out at 65 as the human eye cannot detect a difference much beyond that even with the best of training. Makes it less work on my GPU; therefore longer lifespan :P But it is nice to see so many frames of death and beating people in the face with the shovel makes it better

Your eye doesn't detect FPS, that's not how it works.  However, it can detect color changes and convert that into movement,    which it does a lot faster than 65 FPS.  I think fighter pilots have been recorded detecting over 1000 changes per second.

It all really depends on the refresh rate of your monitor, that whole "You can't see a difference in FPS over 60~" comes from the fact that monitors mainly refresh at 60Hz and you're stuck with 60 FPS since that's all your monitor could display.  New monitors have much higher refresh rates, and if you have a nice monitor with a decent 144-240Hz refresh rate, you'll definitely see a difference between 60 and 200fps.

That's why people get uncomfortable watching TVs with high refresh rates, the movement is so fluid it seems unnatural.
