They continue to do it cause the media blasts it all over the place and instills the fear which is exactly what the group is looking for and they get the publicity they seek which helps them rule over the people they seek to . If the media would stop blasting it and ignore it like it use to before the 2000s then it would not happen.

Media makes it worse for sure, but on the other hand I believe ppl should know who these people are and which places are unsafe. And if this was not broadcast in TV the terrorists would put it in internet anyway, as they did during Iraq war.

I do agree that there should be information about these events available to the public, however as to helping people know were is safe, that would be no where. People develop a false sense of security in their daily routines, and stop watching what is around them or put themselves unnecessarily at risk. Call it hyper vigilance from my touch of PTSD if you will, but I think a larger problem then the media blasting on it is peoples lack of awareness for what is occuring around them and not enough people having the balls to try and help those around them.

There used to be a Marine Corps add campaign run in the States, the message was very simple: "When the shooting starts, which way will you run?"

From my perspective if you love your family and community, and have the means to potentially help those around you (even in a non-violent capacity such as helping wounded or scared people away), you should act on it and move forward under cover when available. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with people who seek to escape and preserve themselves; Fight or Flight reactions are a bitch and work differently for everyone. I have been in an active shooter scenario twice through my life, and each time my reaction was to fight. As I was unarmed in the first instance I applied that by getting multiple people to safety during a shooting in downtown Sacramento California and making sure people stayed behind things more substantial than a clothing display rack. The second time occurred in Sacramento with a drive by between rival gangs, my friends and I were armed and moved several scared people into a cement enclosure that stored the dumpsters to keep them safe from fire and pushed the dumpsters out for cover and held the ground with our pistols in the event an active shooter made a move toward those less able to defend themselves. Luckily the shooters did not come our way as I would feel remorseful for having to take lethal action but would have done so without hesitation. On the arrival of the police we took the only logical course of actions to preserve our lives, we dropped our pistols, kicked them away and went prone with our hands on our heads. Allowed the police to detain, search and question us and were released with no charges presented despite being in California and none of us possessing a concealed carry permit. They kept my Colt 1911 though.

Well, just to be clear, my point was that ppl have the right of having information, I wasn't touching the issue of hiding x acting against, so of course all you said is true and even more true if ppl know how, when, where and against what to act. One good example is the increased amount of young frenchs joining the army, police or any organization which can pro actively fight terrorism. They did/do so because of the huge commotion caused by those attacks in Paris and elsewhere which were the focus of scrutiny in international medias.

This was one of the reasons I took my then fiancee out of eastern germany this year, I could see with my eyes the "refugees" everywhere and I knew they like to rage rape white women. She also didn't feel safe there. Germany is a place very different from USA or the UK, it was so safe that one could not see police often patrolling, women could walk alone during the night back in 2014 in Munich, in public parks which are pretty much desert. Now these ppl are everywhere doing easily these things because it is difficult to catch them (no cameras or no police or simply no ppl around).

It is more sad that this could even happen after Nice. Every big event in Belgium is surrounded by concrete blocks so trucks or whatever cant get trough.

As it was said by a german friend of mine: german economy is (not surprisingly) boosted by cheap labour and dumping. It is exactly the "secret" of any skyrocketing economy, China being the paragon. Now there is a shortage of cheap workers, only the turkish they let come in decades ago won't do, they need more. Not saying all is intentional to this effect, but hey, it is quite convenient letting millions of people come in without any passport and claiming they are refugees from Syria, disguising it as "humanitarian measure".

Sadly Germany is not in the hands of germans, but international capital.

Next logical step is legalizing all of them.

You all got it right for sure. All the media does is blow things out of proportion, spread negativity and manipulate the public by filling them with fear and hate.

The media literally disgusts me beyond belief, but it will take years (if ever) to come together and take control of "Big Brother".

The Government screwed up big time.  They should take the trouble makers, criminals, and those with ties to terrorist organizations and incarcerate them til they can be expelled from Europe.  Not send them to another country, but send them back where they came from.  Only sure way to protect the people.

Send them back to where they come from? you mean send them back to there ancestors lol, to hell. Give me a gun and i'll shoot all those damn terrorists who are in jail atm. It's litterly our money that keeps them alive, we pay there food, the roof above their heads, maybe even their protection so other inmates wouldnt kill them.

If so, who? If none, how did you learn about us: I found you guys from a website called disboard when looking for HLL milsim groups to join.   This unit offers more than just a place to play games with each other, do you have any online skills you think would be useful? no   Do you have any Leadership experience that you think will be helpful? I'm not sure if it will be helpfull, but I used to be in BFV milsim groups and in my last one I got to [E-7] out of [E-1] to [O-8], so I was a NCO and I helped the officers with whatever they needed doing, weather it was assisting with training, settling disputes or helping them decide what was appropriate disciplinary action. And when we were in combat I was usually assigned to lead my own squad.   Have you ever been in a realism unit before, and if so, which unit was it? yes. I was in quite a few BFV milsim groups, although I was only in one at any given time. unfortunately, I have left the discord servers and I do not remember the names of them. if you would like, I could probably give a reference to someone who was an officer in most of the groups I was in.   By posting this Enlistment form, I acknowledge the instructions completely, declare that I am 16 years old or older, and agree that I have and will follow server and unit rules maturely and respectfully or face immediate rejection.
