Reason we should Unban: I run 9.Kompanie; a realism unit similar to the 1st MRB. We have a popular server in Day of Infamy (Post Scriptum as well) which runs the map "salerno". This map is very similar to that of "dod_avalanche". For several years, I've been moderating and playing solely in my server(s) there. I am used to getting asked questions about realism or "virtual reenactment". So, you see, when I was asked by a player "What is realism?", I began entertaining them with answers. Carried away by conversation and being used to playing in my servers (the map being similar didn't help any), I forgot which server and even GAME I was in! It was a simple mistake and I truly meant no ill intent in your server(s).

 

I used to be a member of 1st MRB, long ago, under the name "Cramer". My lack of negative background or previous bans with your organization should hopefully distinguish me as a friend from foe. First Sergeant Ripley is also a regular visitor of our Day of Infamy server; whom I hope can vouch for me in this instance. (Sorry for name dropping you, buddy, I hope you can understand.)

 

The logs will also show that once I realized what I had done, I was ready to take the consequences. I messaged "fair play" or "fair enough" or something similar when I realized what I had done. In 9Kompanie servers, we ban people for the same thing, although I expected to be banned, a permanent ban certainly surprised me. So here I am. I am prepared to even have voip discussion, even after this incident is squared away. I'm very interested in working with other units for scrimmages/matches; even going as far as setting up www.virtualreenactment.com as a database of all units in various games.

• Hello, I've been patiently waiting to hear back but I have not. Since this date, 9.Kompanie has been disbanded, I've gone back to college and am still looking to be unbanned. I'd appreciate any effort put into getting to the bottom of this so to play on your public server. Thank you, have a good weekend.
