Late to the party, I havent seen a game since the Winter Classic, is the season still going or has it been a wash? ( Recently disconnected my cable) Tough choice between the Red Wings, The Bruins and the Sens

It's been out since March. They are restarting the season with a modified playoff format!! So we will have hockey soon, hopefully!

Huge sports fan, my favorite being hockey. I bleed blue & white for my Toronto Maple Leafs. 13 cups, haven't won since '67. Auston Matthews is the chosen one who will bring it back one day (or so I hope)

 

July 10th is the earliest they can start training camp. I'm hoping in 2 weeks Gary Bettman will announce the host cities so that players and teams can get there, have a mini training camp and start playing by July 31st. I'm really liking this format for playoffs, should be exciting including some serious upsets. Can't wait baby!

 

Also, I remember watching 2010 finals, that was the weirdest finish I've ever seen. Kane was the only one on the ice celebrating the goal he knew went in, everyone else waited to make sure it was a goal lmao.

Die-hard Habs fan myself. Was an infant when we last won the Stanley Cup back in ‘93. We’ll bring it home one day, we just need to stop relying only on Carey Price.

 

At least we made the playoffs this year!

I've been fortunate to see 2 games at the Bell Center. Carey is an amazing goalie, they need to step up NOW before it's too late. Kinda like the Rangers with Hank. Except they failed him miserably.

I think most people hate them XD However I give them credit, they do play well, until they dont haha. Habs are close on my list but I recently developed a bit of a rivalry with a buddy of mine who works in Montreal.

Go Habs Go. Seen Montreal beat the ducks 3-2 in overtime feb 6 at the bell center. The atmosphere is unlike any other honestly. Hopefully they let domi play but its yet to be decided due to his type 1 diabetes making him higher risk to covid...

Welcome to the 2021 NHL Season!

 

This year, we see many changes to professional hockey in the face of COVID. The NHL schedule is moving to 56 games instead of 82, all of which will be played within a teams own division. Teams will play a two-game series before moving on to the next opponent to limit travel/exposure. While I am a traditionalist, I welcome this season with open arms. This season will create new rivalries, and intensify current ones, having to play the same teams over and over within their division. I am personally looking forward to the "North" division, which is all 7 Canadian based teams. It's going to create an awesome spark show!
