Well well well.....long time no see

GOOD AFTERNOON 1st MRB!!!,

 

    I have missed you all dearly, after talking with Capt. Candy this morning I figured I would pop in here and post again for the fire time in 2 years lol. I apologize for being a ghost the last couple years. I pop in here and now and talk to some of yall but I have been focused on school. I am getting ready to finish my Engineering Degree I left for and possibly starting my Masters in Physics, me and Jenny finally got married after 6 years last year, I am still coaching football, tutor in math in science now and mentoring on a high school robotics team.  Trying to convince Jenny also to let me re-enlist into the military but I will be jumping ship from the Marines to the NG or Army Reserves (Gunning for that EOD spot). 

 

    I am in the process of getting a new PC, Solidworks and CAD has pretty much killed my laptop, it has a stroke running league or COH2. When that happens I will be finishing up my last full semester in the next couple weeks and will be thinking about a return to the unit after a couple years, I miss you all and the community greatly and Jenny still asks about some of you guys here and then (Especially you Larson she has a soft spot for you for some reason lol maybe cause you had to listen to me yell and complain a lot).

 

    Attached is our wedding pictures from September, yes I cried like a baby and my buddies from the Marines that were there still do not let me hear the end of it. Yes my hair is braided and is now currently about mid shoulder, I dont think I have cut it since I retired lol minus the sides. 

 

   If anyone sees me online shoot me a message, I am usually just working on homework and about the only games I have installed right now are COH2 and League, may see if my computer will handle DODS. Till then I LOVE ALL OF YOU.

It's great to hear from you again Turner. It's been a long time. I'm glad to hear that you're doing well . Don't be a stranger man, feel free to join us on discord and just hang out. Even though you're retired you're still one of us.

Great news Turner, as we discussed think about re-enlisting when you get a chance, its always good to have another RL marine in the Unit. Get pic of your wedding, looks like the happiest day of your life. Glad things are going well with school. I am a CAD man myself along with my graphic design. Hope to see you around on the pub or discord brother. Till then.

JANK!!!! I will try to this weekend for a little, I am going  to try and pop in here and there slowly and more often throughout this semester till I am done with it and have more time to dedicate.

Well I mean you know, next to getting my EGA and then DD214 its pretty high up there but dont tell Jenny lol Jenny had our pitbull there it just say at the food table and people would walk by tossing him chicken nuggets till his belly sagged.

I think I was a 1stSgt, I skipped SgtMaj

 

Also yeah I finished college in May 2020. Feels weird it's been almost a year already since I've been out. Been working for a pharmaceutical company and I have 2 coaching jobs for fencing now. It's been busy but I've been enjoying it.

Good for you brother, I got a full time job at a major industrial construction and engineering business and switch to online school and they made me repeat all my calculus which set me back a whole semester so I just switched by to my old university. I should of graduated in December 2020 but now it will be December 2021 and then starting my Masters in either Engineer, Physics or Energetic Materials I havent decided yet.

You are not joking lol well idk maybe next to my divorce papers from my ex wife  I am pretty proud of my NJP's to lol I talked to the Army recently and they was like " got a couple NJP's I see" yes I do took that Chesty saying seriously lol They still said I would come in as a SFC now I just gotta drop the weight and hope an EOD spot is still open.
