So tonight was Waffen SS vs Vietcong and from the majority of people i herd from they believed vietcong wouldve won...sadly Waffen SS proved victorious and crushed the vietcong lol. Next week is Roman Legion vs Rajuk warriors! Anyone else watchin this? tonights episode was pretty awsome.

yeah the congs were using those sharp sticks which was a great tactic bc they could retreat behind there traps and wouldnt have to operate them like a normal rifle i liked the show alot sometimes i wish the two diff warriors or the guys demonstrating there ancestors war methods would break out in a huge ass kicking brawl just like they do on jerry they talk soo much shit to eachother i just want to see one guy punch the other in the face and fight to the death and see who truly is the deadliest warrior!!!

I thought it was a little ridiculous. The weaponry they used was, as best as I can tell, maybe not the most accurate representation of each warriors typical armament. Why did the Viet Cong not use the AK47? Why did the SS not utilize boobytraps, which they used? It seems odd...

ya i was like Huh? why not the Ak47? I was so happy when they showed off the broomhandler and the flamethrower lol. I was expecting them to show off the kar98 maybe even an mp44. For their explosives they shoulda used a panzershrek.

I bet the problem would have been it would have been too lopsided if the Vietcong had used the AK47. Additionally, the SS wouldn't have wanted to use the Panzershrek because it would have required an independent operator as well.

Before I knew which weapons were going to be used, I expected the Viet Cong to win, especially with the AK47 and the pistol. However, I think that if the two armies met on the battlefield, I would put m money on the Waffen SS.

lol, The SS didn't use the MP44? that was there main battle weapon from 43 up to the end, and the VC wouldn't have had that mch of a advantage with the Ak in my opion, the 44 was the father of it and they were unreliable back then cause of the poor materials used to manufacture them for the VC also the climate wouldn't help with the jamming of the rifle as I don;t think the VC coud clean them all the time. lol over all i like that they have the show cause its awesome but I think they need to do better research on the tactics and weapons used for the most part. considering weffen SS were like the most elite unit the germens had back then. lol also they could have used the geiweir( i think thats how you spell it) instead of the K98 as they would have been equipped with that later on too instead of the K98 for the rate of fire and accuracy given to then for their role in the battle field.

Needless to say i expected the centurian to win at first, but rajput had too many accessories and awsome weapons... the freakin weapons experts for the romans need to be slapped. What were they thinking when they brought that huge fuckin siege ballista as a long range weapon.....morons.

In the open the VC wouldn't have won they know nothing about open field combat they accelled in their tunnel ambush posistions. Look at the Tet offensive the one time they tried to come above ground. Yes they pushed South back but they lost tens of thousands to do so.
