[Resolved] My Willie's Gone!

So for whatever reason recently I haven't been able to see any US Jeep models in-game. I have tried verifying the game files and one was missing but was replaced. But still no Willies for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This happens on every map that has jeeps, correct?

I forgot you have a ton of mods, which makes diagnostics a little more tricky without a computer.

 

Can you go to "steam > steamapps > (your username) > day of defeat source > dod > materials" and take screenshots of it. We may have to delete the material folders, verify the game files, then relaunch to test it out.

Hey, sorry for the no response. So as of right now I don't have any mods activated on my pc for DoD:S. I am currently trying to figure out how to take a screenshot of my screen

Go ahead and follow these steps:

 

Close out DODS, log off and exit Steam.

 

Go back to your "steam > steamapps > (your username) > day of defeat source > dod " and delete the materials folder. From there, close out of file explorer.

 

Relaunch Steam, sign in, and launch DODs. Let me know if that works.

So, I did just try this as you instructed. I then went onto a map I know has allied jeeps (Stug) however the jeeps are still missing.

I did validate my files. It said that 9 files failed to validate however they were reinstalled. I went onto several maps that I know have US Jeeps in them. However still no models. Could uninstalling and reinstalling work?

The next step would be do an uninstall and reinstall. Make sure there are no mods installed after you uninstall.

 

After reinstalling, go ahead and launch DODs to test it again. Please let me know the results.

So, I uninstalled and re-installed DoD:S however my jeeps are still missing.

Try to uninstall and reinstall Steam. Sometimes it can be Steam being Steam.

I don't think it annoys me enough to fully uninstall steam as a whole. My internet and my laptop would make it so it would take a couple days to reinstall all my content.

I've sent Landgren a spare laptop I had, this issue will be resolved with new hardware.
