Okay, so I got this game for my birthday, and I gotta say I'm really impressed. It's incredibly fun (not to mention challenging) to play and the environments are awesome. Also, it has a pretty good suite of multiplayer functionality all the way from co-op campaign to team deathmatch and capture the flag type games. I highly recommend picking it up. And if you do, we can add each other to our friends lists and play online together. Just wait till the first time you transform into a tank and blow someone up. It rocks.

Yea I watched all the videos and shit on e3 last week and was quite impressed. I have always been a big transformers fan, but there has never really been a fun game based off of the series so I will hopefully rent it and try it out.

Hows the co-op stuff in this game? I'm thinking of picking it up eventually but the co-op is a pretty big factor.

Apparently the multiplayer is "Modern Warfare-esque" where you level up your guns and abilities. And there is a co-op game where you fight off waves and waves of enemies until you can't anymore.

That sucks, I was hoping for more of a campaign then a survival grind.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I think you can join someone's single player campaign, but it only helps them and not you.

no there is a three player coop campaign mode. Collins and I have been playing it the past few nights it's really fun. It just works better when you have three people who know each other and are all in vent. Otherwise you get some random dingus who constantly dies and ruins everything. Or you can make it a private campaign and just the people you invite can come in.

As far as the straight multiplayer stuff goes, think unreal tournament on transformers.
