I have a phobia of heights and for the leadership/ team building retreat for my work we went to the 4-H camp and they have a high ropes course and its all about conquering your fears. Well i did it. Imagine a 350 lbs linebackerish guy, shaking like a little girl and that's me. So scared I was paralyzed. Almost. I only went across one obstacle then zip line [after working up the courage for 20 minutes] but in all it was worth it. I think.

The guy in the far right is me. Cowering in fear of the 50ft high zipline... Yeah I was scared.

Wish I could say thats me, but its my Hall Director. Throwing up an A for A-Hall.

The best thing to do to dispell your fear of heights is to jump off of a 2 story building. I'm not trying to make fun or suggest something stupid (yes I know). But when I was little that's what we did for fun at daycare is jump off of buildings or at my lake property that's all we did and I have no fear of heights.

      I dont know how many of the people that know me or what i did in the unit are still here. But i just wanted to leave a huge thank you on the forums to this unit, that i was a part of for so many years, and all the good times and hardships i shared with a lot of different people from all over the world.    Maybe i'll still see you in DoD:s   *Salute*
