A 9400GT is a tough card to really get a high amount of fps. What are you hitting right now? 60 is the best target you can hit. I would definately turn *OFF* HDR. Lower your textures, shadows, models, and everything else to medium. This actually will make the map brighter for you and easier to play.

I would also look at getting a new nvidia driver. You can find it at: Nvidia's Driver Page Make sure you get the right version of the driver. There is an enormous difference between 32-bit and 64-bit.

Your 3.25 GB of ram make me thing you have 4 GB of available ram, but you are either using Windows 7 32-bit (instead of 64-bit) OR you have an out of date BIOS. In looking at your BIOS info, it is from 2005. IF (AND ONLY IF) you have Windows 7 64-bit installed, you should update the BIOS. This will give you .75 GB of more RAM, bringing your available physical RAM up to ~3.62 GB (always good with Windows Vista/7 for prefetching).

After that, we can look at adjusting your cvars in your config. Its been a while, but Janke may have some good input on this. I can send you a sample user config for you and we can go from there.

LOL, Thanks for the info, yeah I forgot to add its a 32 bit. Your recomendations verified what I thought I could do, the drivers are UTD, first thing I did after installing. And yes I'm only looking a a target of 60 fps.

Anything else would be helpful.
