i have a death adder and it does take a little getting used to but the best way is to set it the way you want it and use it consistantly i went from a rollerball mouse to the adder and it took me about a month to adjust to it... i still mess with the driver settings every now and then to tweak it.

Thats the thing though I've tried trackball mice in the past and never liked em... Sat there trying to play Red Alert back in the day and had to switch back to a regular mouse b/c it never felt quite right.

I got the Razer Imperator, after movin from a Logitech G5. I love Razer products. I usually use about a 3800 DPI setting, but thats when I am playing DOD:S. When I play Star Craft I usually something a bit higher, for quicker movement. As for keyboards, couldn't tell ya, I use a laptop haha. It suits me fine, including my big red OH SHIT button that I replaced my escape key after a drunken rage session.

LMAO McKenzie!!!!! i tried the Imperator first but exchange it for the Death Addar... but now that I've tried them both they feel the same. What sensitivity do you have it set to in DOD:S McKenzie??

i maxed my DPI and i hve just maxed my sensitivity on DOD:S haha

so i play it fast and hard lol. if you are getting used to it set you sensitivity to 13 or 14 ingame so you can get the feel and if you want when you are comfortable you can increase it...

I usually use it at a Medium DPI setting for DOD:S, allows me to control it quickly with a sniper, but hold the control as I use my Thompson. Its schweet. I like the Imperator over the Death Adder because its cheaper, and is basically the same.
