Would this Scenario work?

Theres a group of 15 ex military men (top of the line), 1 is great with technology, 5 including tech rob a bank in new york, which ever one has alot of fucking money and is well enclosed, not many windows etc. They hold up the bank with 20 hostages, the robbers are wearing masks and shit so there no way to be recognised. Cops come, set up perimetre, they call swat, they set up there perimetre, so bout 25-30 cops altogether. Now the robbers in the bank are playing around with the negotiations cop, coz they have no intention of surrendering. the 10 guys from the robber group are outside the bank, do a quick intel on the cop positions and there movements. These 10 set up outside the cop perimetre in advantageous kill spots. When the robbers are done getting all money and teh tech guy, really great with tech, is able to hack for banking codes and shit, getting say 10mil altogether in cash and managing to transfer money from the top 20 richest accounts in the banking records without it being traced. Anyway they have robbed it, ready to go and right before the guys shoot the cops, there are 2 surrounding cars that have bombs in them, not enough to do extreme damage but get a 5 metre radius blast, it stuns the cops, mite kill sum, and then the 10 outside the bank kill the cops, they are all dead, alot of casualties in the crowding mobs that are attracted by a bank robbery, robbers in the bank get out drive away in there car which is right outside, get bout 2 streets away where they stop load everything into another getaway car and plant an explosive on the old car which they blow up that just incinerates the car and basically any DNA they could of left. the 10 that did the killing put the weapons quickly in there original cases, use small explosives to destroy em and just walk out and meet up with the 5 that robbed the bank.

Do you think this would work, and these are dishonorable discharged- US military soldiers, top of the line.

i would say.... no, because everything would have to go the way the robbers wanted it. everyone knows that stuff never goes the way you want it, and in this scenario.... there is too much stuff that has to go right for it happen. thats my opinion..Why? are you planning on robbing a bank? lol!!

No it wouldent work. Police helicopters would be able to spot the crooks easily. Then tell the ground forces their exact locations.

It's also a matter of them getting the gear they trained with in the military. Plus the explosives would have to be military grade in order to destroy these things without having a good chance of leaving prints and be small enough to easily place anywhere.

It looks good on paper but chances are things would turn to shit fairly fast.

You will never have criminals like you had pre-1980. The television and news media have complete dominance over what goes on now-a-days. As soon as these guys enter the banks, it would be on the news, 14 news copters would be in the air, jockeying for airspace with the police choppers.

I don't condone criminal activity mind you, but stuff that happened 30 years ago can't happen now. Literally everyone has a cellphone with a camera in their pocket, so much stuff that used to go un-noticed, gets captured by everyday citizens. Same reason we don't have as much mafia activity now. They can't do what they used to do. It's just not possible.
