Left 4 Dead or Left 4 Dead 2

I would like to know peoples opinions on which game is better Left 4 Dead or Left 4 Dead 2.

I haven't got the game yet but I want to know which one to choose as I want to buy it soon.

Get L4D2. There are better zombies, more maps, and you have some of the first one in it too. It's an easy choice.

L4D2 has more weapons, melee weapons, more infected, and has more campaigns so I would say its an easy choice, but an even better choice is to get both of them. However if you have a choice of one then get L4D2.

Agreed, no question get L4D2. You won't regret it.

Valve has tons of deals on getting both usually - I'd recommend that in all truth.

I'm still playing through the first one (a friend and I play on occasion, just working through the games) - but I hear L4D2 is much, much better.

i like l4d cus of ther is only 3 typs of special infected, and i like l4d2 cus of the story is more together.

I would say L4D2, its a little bit smoother and is a little more difficult. Although Bill from the first one is pretty badass!

when goodwin and I were looking for a new game to play around the holidays, I was able to pick up both games for 15 bucks. we figured we might as well play the original first as it might be hard to play the second and then have to go back to the original. similar to DoD, with how cheap it was, its hard to call it a bad deal no matter what. there is even still a decently active online community for trying out those modes.
