MAn i just bought some jäger for the hell of it a little while ago. a small 375ml bottle just to try it. Well man, it is the shit. i know its a bad thing, but i literally just chugged the bottle. like a little while ago, it tasted like liquorish, and in hind sight its abad thing, but i'm a big guy so i should only have a bac od .1 tops. but any way this is my, slightly drunken review...

The first thing one notices is it smells like liquorish, black liquorish. And it taste like it too, with an alcohol tang. To me it kinda has a bitter after taste. I havent tried it yeytm, but i hear it is goud with red bull, but since i hate red bull, i would substicute any other energy drink. ITs been approximently 5 minutes since i chugged it and I'm feeling very good. But the world is all spinny and its hard to type this. I also hope i make it downstairs to picj up my chinese order.

Any ways that is my brief review of jafgermefite r. enjoy my friends, and good fraffing, anf happy holidays.

Jager was my drink of choice throughout highschool. I love the stuff. Jager is to Germany, as Jack Danial's is to America. (and just to clarify, its Jager m-e-i-S-t-e-r) translating to "Hunting Master". It is made from the same root that black liquorish is made out of, so in a sense, it doesnt just taste like black liquorish alcohol, it kind of is. Personally i can't stand it with redbull. If you're feeling brave, and experimental, i discovered that concord grape juice + Jager is delicious. Gotta be careful though, that stuff doesn't taste as good coming up as it does going down!

i love jager, try a jager bomb u fool

I had it. They should just rename it "Shit and Piss." There is a reason the Germans refer to it as Leberkleister (“liver glue”).

Try a 12 or better yet an 18 year old Glenmorangie and talk to me about Jager. Or a Tulamore Dew if you prefer your whiskey Irish. Hell, even Glen Livet is better than Jager.

Whoa buddy, I'm a college student. And these old liquors sound pricey. But man I do enjoy me some whiskey. However just not the super expensive stuff

there are more expensive, but higher quality liquors similar to Jager. You should check out Ramazzottis, its a higher shelf version of jager and it is a lot better IMO. I dont know if it can be purchased in America though, i have yet to see it here.

Ok Morton since you're a college student who wants great yet affordable cocktail, I'll pose it in the form of a math equation.

Baccardi Rum + Coke = (cheap and tasty)2

transversely

JD + Coke = (cheap and tasty)2

However, for you my big and tall friend I propose this

Grappa + Sprite = ((affordable and tasty)2 x 65% Alcohol)

rum and coke is decent. Go really cheap. Cheap Vodka and sunny d. You can't taste the vodka. Which can be bad when you dont know about it. Or really good, you know what i'm saying.

or you could just save for a while and buy a nice 18 year malt scotch. thats just my personal preference lol. but ya as far as you want a cheap way to get fucked up Steel Reserve 211. drink it cold drink it fast lol

Jager is blech. I hate black licorice though, so that's probably why.

As far as beer? See if you guys get Southern Tier - if so, pick up some Iniquity. It's a black IPA that rolls in around 9% abv. There is NO alcohol tang like what you find in most other high abv beers, it's just hop goodness with a roasty malt finish (thanks to the carafe III malts). Super good.

I just brewed a clone of it and bottled it yesterday. I took a sample of it and it was delicious!! I got a lot more roasted flavor (I added a bit more roasted malts than called for) than the original - but I mashed it a little high and forgot to take a gravity reading so I have no idea of the ABV (but it's probably relatively low).

Other delicious beers? Anything by Bear Republic (Hop Rod Rye is the bomb! I made a clone of that a couple months ago and posted it here on the boards - I've been drinking it and it was spot on!)

Cheap? I like VSOP Brandy actually - it's one of the cheapest and it's delicious. Either on the rocks with a splash of water or sprite and it'll get ya warm and be delicious.

Also, the lady and I found this amazing recipe that's super easy:

Glass w/ ice

1/3 Cherry Pucker

a few shots of a canadian whisky (the glass should be about 2/3 full now)

Fill the rest with sprite, mix and enjoy.

Called a Canadian Cherry. Fucking amazing!!!

Fun Tip:

How do you know if someones drinking rum/coke or whisky/coke!?

If it has foam on top - it's rum & coke.

No foam? Whisky & coke.

I'm not sure if it will be helpfull, but I used to be in BFV milsim groups and in my last one I got to [E-7] out of [E-1] to [O-8], so I was a NCO and I helped the officers with whatever they needed doing, weather it was assisting with training, settling disputes or helping them decide what was appropriate disciplinary action. And when we were in combat I was usually assigned to lead my own squad.   Have you ever been in a realism unit before, and if so, which unit was it? yes. I was in quite a few BFV milsim groups, although I was only in one at any given time. unfortunately, I have left the discord servers and I do not remember the names of them. if you would like, I could probably give a reference to someone who was an officer in most of the groups I was in.   By posting this Enlistment form, I acknowledge the instructions completely, declare that I am 16 years old or older, and agree that I have and will follow server and unit rules maturely and respectfully or face immediate rejection.
