Most Half-Life mods aren't nearly as well though out and planned as this one was. Things like amazing voice-acting and music push the envelope that much further. Shooter Mods are a dime-a-dozen, and even most great mods like Metastasis and Neotokyo don't drastically change the theme of the game. Dear Esther is something completely unexpected, but completely welcome. Give it a try.
