Any one from the 1.3 realism days?

I've been playing realism since the 1.3 days I've created units and lost units I've been every rank known to man, but I was curious of ppl's memories good/bad from the 1.3 days maybe we can make a community, below are my snco's and XO's from my unit 35th ID on 1.3 from 2004.

Cool pics Folsom, reminds me of the 1.3 days. I played in different servers, I never was into realism in 1.3. I really only began to realism when I started source.

I didn't know what a realism was until about 4 months ago. Pubbed since beta, quit before source, and finally got a new comp. after about 6 years off and here I be.

yeah 2lt. Gooderham i started out my first week of 1.3 on those servers and the PM 24/7 Caen Server, i miss them, park i never said he was the best leader but he was better than anyone else i had at the time.

Same here. I was with the [3rd ID] from 1.2 to DODS when we moved to COD.

ACtually i didnt either, he was actually a really great leader.....he made the 35th huge, and lead greatly in realisms

They were a branch off unit from the 7th ID. I played a lot of realism back in 1.3 and didnt really get into Source until last year.

I still play a bit of 1.3. I believe there is one realism unit still active. I didn't know what a realism unit was until I started playing on the 1st MRB pub a few months ago although I remember trying a few realism units' pubs when my favourite server died. I am glad that I found both this unit and the realism community in DODS.

I was in a ton of RBs and IDs... I played a lot on Merrils Marauders and Over The Hill...

I only remember a few names... My cousin was in the 5th SS I believe at one point.

Anyone remember a Clericuzio? He started quite a few units. There was also some kid named Lara (SoccerLara I think was his AIM/forum name..)

Man those were the good old days. Sucks there aren't really any decent servers around that arent frigging gun game or dod_orange maps.

I got my start in 1.1, yes I was in the 12th SS, 9th SS, 26th ID, 506th PIR and maybe a handful of small get-up units. I think I was in the 3rd ID, I know I was in the 4th ID for a short while but they never stuck. Also helped reinstate the 506th PIR into DoDS and helped get them up and running.

Shame the 506th disbanded..

I was around in the 1.3 days under Wolfe |12.SS|, Wolfe |9.SS|, [26th ID] VanFleet, most recently 2Lt. VanFleet [506th PIR].

Now I'm Headshot Bob on the server.
