Ideas?

So, currently I am in the process of making a comic book for my college portfolio. I am planning on majoring in Advertising, and minoring in cartoonist!

I need some ideas that would be beneficial to the comic book. This is what I got so far: It is 1965, and the first battalion of soldiers where launched into Vietnam. The story is focused around a small squad that consist of five soldiers sent in by helicopter for recon support before a major assault. While on their way the pilot was hit by sprays of bullets from a Vietcong AK-47, and the helicopter went crashing down. Only one member was killed including the pilot, and they are stranded out in thick jungle with no safe zones...

The fun part is coming up for the rest of you reading this! I need 5 volunteers who would like to be put into the comic not rank or personality, but your name! I'd rather use a real name then a boring uncreative name like John Smith... You get what I mean!? So if you wanna be apart of the comic please post with your full name(Not middle name), and "ME".
